Ever since 1957, The Bombay Shuttle Manufacturing Company was run by dedicated, experienced textile engineers with a vision. BSM pursued the vision of being the first to adapt to any new technology that developed in the technologically advanced countries.

THE BOMBAY SHUTTLE MFG. CO.

BSM has been in field of Textile Shuttle manufacturing since 1957 and its products and prestige are well-known to almost every textile unit in the country.

The Company is first in India to manufacture Ruti “C” Flexi shuttle under guidance of M/s Stahel & Kong AG, Switzerland and with the assistance of M/s. Lakshmi Automatic Loom Works Ltd. Hosur.  Shuttles range offers Ruti “B”, heavy canvas Pinacol loom, Automatic loom shuttle of all types, and silk loom shuttle.

This Company maintains a modern seasoning and wood processing plant. For manufacturing Duramould Shuttle Blocks and other products like Hylam, the Company deploys innovative and latest technology that is the standard for wood processing internationally.

The Company manufactures Picking Sticks from best quality veneers of Gurjan and other species in 1mm, 1.5mm with required gravity according to the need of mills.

The extensive operations called for setting up a Trading Company, to cater to the requirements of the weaving sections of the clients, all under one umbrella. UTC markets the products, namely Wire Healds, Flat Healds, and Droppers, of M/s Maksteel Wire Healds Pvt. Ltd. Vadodara.

UTC also supply quality Heald Frames and Bobbins.
